I almost forgot. Here's the link that you should use as a starting place if you want to comment on this blog, (and, gee, I wish you would!)

1. Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/Login
2. Follow directions to start a Google account that you can use as your very own.
3. Each time you visit, just sign in, (very top right of my blogspot.)
4. Keep in mind that when they ask your "username" what they really mean is your e-mail address.

There now, didn't I make that sound simple? Of course, it took me 10 days to figure that out, but, then, see the title of this post...

So it Begins

Funny how one thing leads to another.
If I'd never written L. that morning, she would've never given me directions to her blog, and if I'd never found her blog, I can guarantee you'd have never found me here.
L. and I e-mail each other from time to time, though not on any regular basis. When I wrote to her that day, she told me about her blog, and, after WAY too much time trying to figure out how it worked, (!) I decided to set one up for myself.
So, now that I am finally here, what should I do? Is there anything more wonderful and more intimidating than a blank piece of paper? When I find one, I usually start scribbling some kind of to-do list, or jotting down the groceries I need to pick up. This time I going to treat myself to something better. I am just going to write about life. My life. Of course, my life isn't any more facinating than the lives of the rest of you. In fact, considering I live in a small town on one of the edges of the country, my life may be more boring than most. Nevertheless, it's the only life I have, so you work with what you've got.
Anyway, I am going to tell you some stories about the things in my life, in the hopes you will read what I've written and share some of yourself with me and the others who will read this blog. In this way, I hope we will re-connect. Or maybe connect for the first time, who knows?
The word "blogging" clogs your throat like when you eat tapioca pudding. Blogging. Blogging. Blogging. There should be a better name for something that holds the promise of so much fun.
